But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Our heart is to reach outside the four walls of the church in order to reflect the love of God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have been called to be witnesses of the gospel first in Jerusalem, our own community, then in all Judea, our own country and in Samaria to the ends of the earth, to reach the world with the gospel of Christ. It is a call that we have chosen to answer as a church but we are well aware that in and of ourselves we are powerless to answer the call. It is only by God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit that we have seen God glorified through various ministries of the church both locally and abroad. From our local junior highs and high schools, to the homeless in Fullerton and to the people of Mexico and Africa we have been blessed to play a part in God’s plan to reflect His love through the gospel of His Son.
